Some faults are fairly straightforward and can be readily diagnosed from your description of the problem in which case its a case of pricing up parts and labour and providing an estimate. More often the fault could be attributable to one or a number of separate problems and the likely cause and costs cannot be easily given.

Calling out an engineer is expensive; so what should you do?

At Horders we make the following provision; if we cannot be sure of the likely costs without a visit we can send out our engineer to carry out an inspection and check. They will cost up the repair. They will also tell you whether, in their experience, a repair would be advisable based on the make, age and condition of your machine.

If you go ahead with the repair its carried out at the price quoted and our repair is guaranteed for 12 months.

If you decide against a repair you pay us a flat inspection charge; currently £37.50 inc VAT, or if you decide to replace your appliance with one bought from Horders the inspection fee is waived so you do not lose out.
